During 1968 to 1972 I spent many months working in Thailand and came to value the many friends I made there. I recognized an almost universal desire to learn English or to improve an already basic knowledge of the English language. I enjoyed being able to help my friends to improve their learning of the American form of the English language as they helped me to improve my extremely limited knowledge of the Thai language.

Since I have retired I have become an Internet enthusiast and have become involved in web page design as a hobby. I thought that perhaps I could provide some help to web site designers in Thailand who use English as a Second Language and I have chosen this way in which to offer this help.

My academic background includes university degrees in Psychology and Law with graduate courses in Anthropology, Linguistics and Archaeology. I continue to have a long standing interest in the origins and structure of both English and non-English languages.
